Learn2DriveLog ("we," "us") is a small app for logging student-driver hours. This policy describes what we collect, why, and what happens to your data.
What we collect
- Email address. Used only to sign you in (via a magic link or via Google OAuth). We do not send marketing email.
- Name and profile image (if you sign in with Google). Shown in the app header so you can see which account is active. Not shared externally.
- IP address and browser user-agent. Stored on active sign-in sessions for security auditing. Rotated when you sign out.
- City selection. You pick your nearest city during sign-up. We use its coordinates to classify your drives as day or night. We do not track your precise location, do not use your browser's geolocation API, and do not follow you across sessions.
- Drive logs. Start/end timestamps, total duration, and day/night split for each drive you record. This is your data, only visible to you.
- Magic-link tokens. Temporary tokens emailed to you for passwordless sign-in. Deleted from our database after you use them or after they expire (fifteen minutes).
What we don't do
- No third-party analytics, ad networks, or tracking pixels.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with anyone.
- No profiling, scoring, or targeting of individual users.
- No cookies beyond what is strictly required to keep you signed in.
How long we keep data
We keep your account, city setting, and drive logs for as long as your account exists. Sign-in sessions are kept until they expire or you sign out.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and removes your account record, every drive log, every active sign-in session, and any linked Google-OAuth credentials. Expired magic-link tokens tied to your email may remain until their expiration timestamp passes, after which they are invalid and inert.
Subprocessors
- Cloudflare — hosting (Workers, D1 database).
- Resend — sending magic-link emails. Your email address is passed to Resend only when we send you a sign-in link.
- Google — OAuth sign-in (only if you choose "Continue with Google"). Google provides us your email, name, and profile image; we don't request any other data.
- Stripe — payment processing for one-time purchases. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
Children
The app is intended for teen drivers learning to drive. If a user is under 13 (US) or 16 (EU), a parent or guardian should create and supervise the account.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
